PLANNING AND ZONING MINUTES
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Schertz convened
in Regular Session, on Tuesday, February 12, 1980, at 7:00 PM, in
the Municipal Complex Conference Room, 1400 Live Oak Road. The
following members were present:

#1 CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Aguilar called the Regular Session ..to- nrder at 7:00PM. _
#2 APPROVAL OF MINUTES - January 22, 1980

Mrs. Lawler moved to accept the minutes as written. The motion was
seconded by Mr. Greenwald. Motion carried unanimously.
#3 RE-CLASSIFICATION OF ANNEXED TERRITORY CURRENTLY CLASSIFIED AS PD
A. 79-A-18: A motion was made by Mrs. Lawler that Ordinance #79-A-18
be zoned GB 750 ft. deep along IH35, the reamining por-
tion zoned as MI. The motion was seconded by Mr. Line-
barger. Motion carried unanimously.
B. 79-A-23:- A motion was made by Mr. Linebarger that the corner of
Green Valley Road and FM 3009 be zoned GB, 200 sq. ft.,
in keeping with the Country Corner concept. The remain-
ing portion of the parcel of land be zoned RI. M~ Lawler
seconded the motion. The motion carried with the vote
being: Ayes - Mr. Linebarger, Mrs. Lawler, Mr. Willman,
Nays - Mr. Stanhope, Mr. Greenwald.
C. 79-A-24: -fA motion was made by Mr. Linebarger that the frontage of
~ the parcel be zoned GB, dimensions as previously approved
on Horseshoe Oaks, Unit I. Dimensions vary as indicated
block 11, 12, 13. The~eamining portion of land annexed
to be zoned RI. The motion was seconded by Mr. Greenwald.
Motion carried unanimously.

REVIEW OF THE PROPOSE REVISED SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE
.
Mr. Willman had a list of exceptions and corrections. Mr. Willman was
asked to compare his list of exceptions with Ms. Stanhope and the Com-
mission would discuss them at the next meeting.

#6 GENERAL DISCUSSION
The question was asked: What is the procedure for handling curb cuts?
The City Staff will look into the procedure and report to Planning
and Zoning at next meeting.
#7 ADJOURNMENT
Mr. Aguilar adjourned the meeting at 9:10 PM.
