PLANNING AND ZONING MINUTES
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Schertz convened in
Special Session on Monday, March,,17, 1980, at 7:00 PM, in the
Municipal Complex Conference Room, 1400 Live Oak Road. 'The followng
members were present:

#1 CALL TO ORDER
e Chairman Aguilar called the Special Session to order at 7:00 PM.
#2 ZC-24: CONSIDERATION OF BALCONES ROCK PRODUCT, INC.
After briefing Mr. Sharp on Publ ic Zoning Hearing on March 11,
1980, the members of the Commission discussed the input of the
Citizens present at the Hearing in addition to the benefits
versus the disadvantages.
Mr. Greenwald made the motion to approve the Specific Use Permit
for the Balcones Roc,k Product, Inc. Mr. Shar~-5econdedthe
motion. Being there was no further discussion, the votes were:
AYES: Mr. Greenwald, Mr. Sharp ~ ~ {nr. t Tn rs .
NAYES: Mr. Willman, Mr. Stanhope, Mr.5. Lawler, Mr. Linebarger
The motion failed to pass.
The City Staff was asked to transmit a letter to the City Council
recommending disapproval of the request for a Specific Use Permit.

meeting at 7:45 PM.
