. PLANNING AND ZONING MINUTES
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Schertz convened
in Regular Session, Tuesday, September 9, 1980, at 7:00 PM, in the
Municipal Conference Room, 1400 Live Oak Road. The following
members were present:

Chairman Aguilar called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.

#4 GENERAL DISCUSSION
Mr. Willman said he had written-a letter-to the City requesting .aned
aerial map for the Planning and Zoning Committee's use. He stated
that he had been unable to get a reply. Mr. Aguilar asked why he
had not gone through the Planning and Zoning to request it and he
stated he wanted to get the request in prior to the last-City
Council,meeting. Mr.u Linebarger asked that it :beenteredinthese-
minutes dto request the City obtain some~aeria:Lphoto-_maps of--Schertz - .
for the use':,of'Plariningand Zoning. The maps would :beveryuseful:on'-
field trips,to identify and discuss_areasforrezoning-andlor
annexation. Itwasbrought-~ut by Mr. Sharp that possibly the photos
could~be nbtainedthrough:thecAirForce.

Ray Upton ust.atedthe areas we would visit on the Field Trip especially
the area that the Houston ~hemical Company will be-lo~ating. Hestated
there is a possibility of a cabinet company relocating and coming into

MI. Stanhope stated that the Public Hearing on Annexation was
postponed until November, 1980.

Chairman Aguilar adjourned the meeting at 7:20 PM and the Planning
and Zoning Committee went on the Field Trip.
