PLANNING AND ZONING ~lINUTES
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Schertz convened in
Regular Session on Tuesday, December 8,1981, in the Conference Room
of the ~1unicipal Complex, 1400 Live Oak Road. ~1embers present were,
as follows:

#1 CALL TO ORDER
Vice-Chairman Kenneth Greenwald called the meeting to order at 7:00 Pt1.
#2 READING OF MINUTES: November 24, 1981
Regular Session
Lee Boswell made a motion to accept the minutes as written. Merwin
Willman seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous in favor.
#3 STAFF BRIEFING
Tom Brooks advised the Commission that there continues to be discussion
by developers about various types of business and housing development
in the City. He also advised the Commission that the City Staff has
recently prepared a Beginning Planning Paper for the City and it should
be presented to the Commi~sion for their review in January, 1982.

#4 GENERAL DISCUSSION
Merwin Willman advised the Commission that a Texas Supreme Court review
is pending which concerns mobile home locations in Texas cities. In
view of that, he recommended that the Commission delay preparing a new
final mobile home ordinance until additional ,information is received
about the court case. All members present were in agreement. . Those
members present also agreed that unless there is urgent reason for a
Commission Meeting on December 22, that the City Staff should not
schedule a meeting for that date in view of the Christmas holidays.
