BE IT O'ROALKIED BY TFEF CITY COUNCIL 01F THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
SECTION, 1. Every driver of a vehicle on the streets of -Schertz, Texas,
shall whenever any siren authorized by law to be operated 1,,ithin- the City of
Schertzp Texas, is sounded, i=ediately drive such vehicle to his right hard
side of the street adjacent to the right hand edge of the street or as close
thereto as practicable under the circumstances and come to a full stop. Such
driver of such vehicle shall not proceed until such siren has ceased sounding.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall not apply to the sounding of sirens by
railroad trains.
SECTIM 3. Any person violating any provision of this ordinance or
failing to observe any provision hereof shall be deemed guiity of a misdemeanor
and upon conviction shall be fined in any sun not less than 45.00 and not

more than t,100.00.
SECTION 4._ A single blast of any siren used as a signal for the purpose
of signifying the time of day shall not be observed by drivers of vehicles in
the manner herein required upon the sounding of a siren for any other purpose.
EECTIUN 5. This ordinance shall become effective upon passage, publication
