BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS
WHEREAS, heretofore by Ordinance of date, (0+11 da~ 0+
June \qGO the office of Marshal of the Ci ty of Schertz, Texas
was abolished and all of his powers, rights and authority
vested in a city policeman as specified in such ordinance, and
whereas the City Council of the City of Schertz, Texas wishes
to reestablish such office of Marshal and abolish the office
of City Policeman:
Now therefore, it is herewith ordained by the
City Council of Schertz, Texas, that the office of city policem an
is herewith abolished, and the office of Marshal of the City of
Schertz, Texas, is hereby re established as an office of the
City of Schertz, Texas, and said office is further found to
be vacant and that a Marshall shall be elected to fill such
vacancy as provided in ordinance of the City of Schertz, Texas,
passed and approved the '2.3t::9 day of January, 1961.
