AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING
THE SCHERTZ BUSINESS PARK
REINVESTMENT ZONE 2.
WHEREAS, Section 312 of the Texas Property Tax Cod~
creation of Reinvestment Zones; and,
WHEREAS, the property owned by Metro Ambulance is desc:
15, 16, and 17, (2.02 acres), and the property owned by
Development Foundation described as Lots 7, 18, and 22, in
Business Park Subdivision, recorded in Volume .5, page 279B of ti:.

WHEREAS, it is the belief of the City Council that by estz
Schertz Business Park Reinvestment Zone 2, it is reasonat

major investment in the zone that would benefit the property

WHEREAS, it has been the stated policy of this Council to
promote the economic development of this community; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held to receive public co~

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHEI~
THAT, City Council of the City of Schertz hereby establishes
Business Park Reinvestment Zone 2 under the provisions of Sectio:
Texas Property Tax Code.
Approved on first reading the 20th day of June 2000.
