--~" The Schertz Board of Adjustment will convene in a public hearing on August 26, 2002 at
6:30pm in the Municipal Complex at Council Chambers, 1400 Schertz Parkway, Schertz,
Texas.

#1 Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:30pm.
#2 Approval of Minutes: There were none.
#3 Public Hearing: On a request James & Cheryl Harden at 483 McBride Bridge, Block 25
_..- Lot 28, Woodbridge Subdivisio or a special exception to the Zoning Ordinance to encroach
into the rear yard setback from 0' to 15' for the construction of a patio cover for the existing
porch slab.
Mr. Youngblood stated The Planning and Zoning Commission met on July 24, 2002 and voted
to forward the request to The Board of Adjustment with a recommendation of approval.
#4 Consider and Take Appropriate Action: On the above request from Mr. & Mrs.
Harden at 483 McBride Bridge for a patio cover. (BOA#182-02) With no discussion Mr.
Potempa moved to approve the request from Mr. Harden Jr.
Ms. Brown seconded the motion. A vote was taken. The motion carried.

Ron Youngblood: Stated he handed out a copy of the next Planning and Zoning agenda. He
felt this would give an idea as to what might be headed to the next Board o~ Adjustment
-- meetn~q.
Ted Duigon: He asked if anyone knew what was going on with the property that sits between
the H2O car wash and SavannalipRMr. Youngblood stated it is going to be a Valvoline.

Peggy Brown: Questioned whether or not a donut shop will be built on Schertz Parkway.
Mr. Youngblood stated the city expects submittal of a site plan soon.

Earl Hartzog: Stated the next meeting September 23, 2002,Ms. Kathy Hill will not be
available. ~
#6 Adjournment: The meeting adjourned at 6:37pm.
