REGULAR MEETING
March 28, 2009
A Special Meeting was held by the Schertz City Council of the City of Schertz, Texas, on
March 28, 2009 at 8:00 a.m., at the GVEC Building, 908 Curtiss Avenue. The following
members present to-wit:

Councilmember Jim Fowler Councilmember David Scagliola

Staff Present: City Manager Don Taylor Assistant City Manager John Bierschwale
Assistant City Manager David Harris EDC Chairman Steve White
Planning & Zoning Chairman David Richmond
Citizens Present: Robert Brockman 1001 Elbel Road.
CALL TO ORDER (GENERAL COMMENTS)
Mayor Baldwin called the meeting to order and introduced Alex and Mary Briseno with
Briseno and Associates who lead the group in a strategic planning session discussion
regarding:
Vision ofthe City
Challenges and Opportunities
Mission
Strategic Goals
Create a "roadmap" to action
* This meeting was intended to allow discussion between elected officials, staff and facilitator
regarding vision, challenges and opportunities, strategic goals and creating a roadmap to action.
No action was taken on any matter.
