CALL AND NOTICE OF CITY OFFICERS ELECTION
WHEREAS. ~, ~. Co~by has tendered his resignation as City
Councilman of the City of Schertz, Texas; and
WHEREAS, there has been a vacancy created in said office; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Schertz, Texas, has
been authorized and is required to call an election to fill such va-
cancy;
NOW THEREFORE, by virtue of the authority vested in us as
Mayor and City Council of the said City of Schertz, Texas , we hereby
call an election to be held in the City of Schertz, Texas, on the

dance with the general election laws of the State of Texas, the
laws governing cities and towns of such state, and of the ordinances

of said City of Schertz, Texas, for the purpose of electing the
following officials for said city: one councilman to serve for the

the unexpired term of ,1 ,~. Cosby or until his successor has quali-
fied.
Said election shall be held at the following place in said City
and the following named persons are hereby appointed officers of
said election: the voting place will be the Fire Station in the

That the City Marshall shall post a copy of this crder at the
voting place above set out, and at the City Hall, which posting
shall be done not less than thirty days prior to the date fixed
for said election.
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, f<J? Cosby has submitted his resignation as
Councilman for the City of Schertz, Texas;
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of said City of Schertz, Texas,
does herewith accept such resignation and declare such office to
be vacant.
