A RESOLUTION
CANVASSING THE ELECTION RETURNS OF THE GENERAL
ELECTIONS OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS HELD ON
APRIL 4, 1970
~AS, the returns of a General Election held in the
Election Precinct Noo 23, City of Schertz, Texas on April 4,
1970 for the purpose of electing a Mayor, two Aldermen and
voting on the proposition FO~ or AGAINST adoption of a sales
and use tax for said City have been tallied and canvassed, and;
WHEREAS, such results are required to be contained in the
legal minutes of said City records, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS THAT:
The following canvassing of votes presented by the presiding
judge for said election be accepted as valid and being in confor-
mity with all the election laws of the State of Texas that such
results are hereby accepted for the election of city officials
and adoption of the proposition voted upono
