BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS,
THAT: The City Secretary of the City of Schertz, Texas, is hereby directed
and authorized to cause the following notice to bidders to be given and

The City Council of the City of Schertzq Texas, will receive se~led bids

which time bids for "Street Improvements, City of Schertz, Texas, will be
publicly opened and read a1oudo
Any bids received after closing time will be rejected and returned to the
bidders unopened~
Copies of the plans and specifications may be obtained in the office of
HOWARD Wo GADDIS CONSULTIN'G ENGIN'EERq located at 342 W. Woodlawn Avenue,
San Antonio, Texas 78212 (Mailing Address: PoOo Box 12389, San Antonio,
Texas, 78212) upon payment of $25000 per set. Prime contractors returning
plans and specifications to the Engineer in good order within 10 days after
the bid open~ng will receive a full refund of deposit if a bid has been
submittedo A refund of one-half of the deposit will be ret!;urned if a bid
is not submitted. All other holders of plans and specifications will be
refunded the full amount of deposit, provided plans and specifications
are in the office of the Engineer in good order 11 days prior to the bid
opening, or one-half amount of deposit if returned not later than 10 days
after bid openingo
The Owner reserves the right to waive any formalities or to reject any \ and
all bids. !
Each bid must be accompanied by acceptable bidder's bond or certified check
in the amount of five percent of the total base bido Bids must be submitted

the above scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids.
In case of ambiguity or lack of clarity in the statements of prices in the
bid form, the Owner reserves the right to consider only the prices written
