DIRECTING THE CALLING FOR BIDS FOR "WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS, BUFFALO VALLEY SOUTH,
CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS"
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT The City Secretary of the City of Schertz, Texas, is hereby directed and authorized
to cause the following NOTICE TO BIDDERS to be given and published in the

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR "WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS, BUFFALO VALLEY SOUTH, CITY OF
SCHERTZ, TEXAS"
The City Council of the City of Schertz, Texas, will receive sealed bids until
7,'00 P.M. 0'c10ck, on :S--u/M, & . ,1976, at the City
Hall, Schertz, Texas, at which time the. ds will be publicly opened and read aloud
for "WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS, BUFFALO VALLEY SOUTH, CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS".
Any bids received after closing time will be rejected and returned to the bidder
unopened.
Copies of the plans and specifications may be examined without charge at the office
of HOWARD W. GADDIS CONSULTING ENGINEER, located at 4335 Piedras West, San Antonio,
Texas 78228, or will be forwarded by the Engineer upon a receipt of a $35.00 deposit.
The entire amount of deposit will be refunded to bona fide bidders if the plans and
specifications are returned in good order within ten days after the bid opening.
One-half of the amount of deposit will be refunded to non-bidders upon return of
plans and specifications within 10 days after bid opening.
Each bid must be accompanied by an acceptable bidder's bond or certified check in the
amount of 5% of the total base bid. Bids must be submitted on bid form furnished.
No bid may be withdrawn for 30 days after the above scheduled closing time for the
. receipt of bids.
In case of ambiguity or lack of clarity in the statement of prices in the bid form,
the City Council reserves the right to consider only the prices written in words,
or to reject the entire bid.
RESOLUTION continued
The City Council reserves the right to waive any or all informalities in the bid
and to reject any and all bids.
