A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF AN APPLI-
CATION FOR ASSISTANCE UNDER DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING
AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT "70,.. LOCAL PLANNING AND
MANAGEMENT PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, a need exists for updating and revising the City
of Schertz. Comprehensive and Land Use Plan; and
WHEREAS, Department of Housing and Urban Development "701"
Local Planning Management Program grant monies are avialable to finance
this need; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS
That the City Manager is authorized and directed to prepare
and submit an application for said "701" Planning funds; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That the City,of Schertz will comply with all of the terms
and assurances contained within the application for the "70,.. Planning
and Management Program, and to provide any additional information as may be
requi red.
