RESOLUTI ON NO. 7F'-R-/I
A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN THE NECESSARY
DOCUMENTS TO FINANCE THE PURCHASE OF AN AMBULANCE
WHEREAS, a new modular ambulance unit is needed by Schertz
Area Facility for Emergency Service (SAFES), and
WHEREAS, the City has accepted the bid from Summers Ambulance
and Coach Sales for a 1978 Chevrolet Type I Wayne Senteniel I modular
ambulance in the amount of $26,943.00, and
WHEREAS, the monies to purchase the ambulance will be avail-
able in the future from Guadalupe County Revenue Sharing funds, the cities
and other sources, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to finance the purchase and the
Schertz Bank and Trust is agreeable to financing the ambulance at a seven
percent (7%) interest rate per annum, on a one year note with" the stipulation
that the note may be renewed at a seven percent (7%) interest rate per annum
or less, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:

THAT Mayor Robert C. Bueker is authorized to sign the necessary
documents at Schertz Bank and Trust to finance the purchase of an ambulance
from Summers Ambulance and Coach Sales in the amount of $26,943.00 in a one
year note at an interest rate of seven percent (7%) per annum.
