A RESOLUTION
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS,
SETTING A TIME, DATE AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
PURSUANT TO THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF 0.912 ACRES
OF LAND OUT OF BEXAR COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Schertz, Texas,
desires to institute annexation proceedings concerning the territory
described herein, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 6, Article 970a,
Vernon1s Texas Civil Statutes, a public hearing is required, NOW
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT a public hearing is hereby scheduled for 7:00 P. ~1.
S,e~tember 4, 1979, to be held in the Council Chambers of the Municipal
Building, 1400 Live Oak Road, Schertz, Texas, to obtain the views of the
public concerning the proposed annexation of the following territory:
BEGINNING at a point in the southernmost city limits
of the City of Schertz, Texas, said point being the
intersection of the city limits and the common pro-
perty line of the L.E. Dawson, Jr. 2.44 acre tract
and the E.J. Fichter 0.912 acre tract; and N 620421
E, 1.521 from the south right of way of F.M. 1518;
THENCE, S120 041 2011 W, 276.091 to a corner;
THENCE, S 770 2714811 E, 149.771 to a corner;
THENCE, N 12951 07" E, 253.091 to a point on the south
right of way line of FM 1518;
THENCE, with the south right of way line of FM 1518,
N 670 45' 3811 W, 158' more or less, to a point where
the existing city limits line of the city of Schertz
intersects the south right of way line of FM 1518;
THENCE along the existing city limits of the City of
Schertz, S 620 421 W, 2' more or less to the point
of beginning and containing 0.912 acres.
