A RESOLUTION
TO RECOGNIZE STEWART R. ROWELL FOR EXEMPLARY
PERFORMANCE OF DUTY.
WHEREAS, Patrolman Stewart R. Rowell in the performance of
his regular duties was first on the scene of a heart attack victim, and
WHEREAS, this citizen had ceased breathing, Patrolman
Rowell immediately administered Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation to the
vi ctim; and
WHEREAS, this action prolonged the victim's life until he
could be transported to the hospital for medical treatment, Patrolman
Rowell displayed professionalism in his action and brings credit to him-
self and the Schertz Police Department, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT, we, as Mayor and City Council of the City of Schertz,
Texas, recognize Patrolman Stewart R. Rowell for his exemplary action and
knowledge in emergency life saving techniques and promoting the reputation
of our Police Department and the City of Schertz, Texas.
