A RESOLUTION
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS,
SETTING A TIME, DATE AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
PURSUANT TO THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF 103.65 ACRES
OF LAND MORE OR LESS OUT OF THE CQUNTIES OF COMAL
AND GUADALUPE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Schertz, Texas,
desires to institute annexation proceedings concerning the territory
described herein, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 6, Article g70a, Vernon's
Texas Civil Statutes, a public hearing is required, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT a public hearing is hereby scheduled for 7:00 o'clock
P.M., Tuesday, March 3, 1981, to be held in the Council Chambers of the
Municipal Complex Building, 1400 Live Oak Road, Schertz, Texas, to obtain
the views of the public concerning the proposed annexation of the following
territory:
FIELDNOTE DESCRIPTION of 103.65 acres of land more or less
being situated in the Rafael Garza and Calvin P. Abbott Surveys out
of the Counties of Carnal and Guadalupe.
BEGINNING AT A POINT in the City limits of the City o~ Schertz,
said point being the intersection of the north right-of-way line
of I.H. 35 and the west property line of the Richard ,Kraft 2.85 acre
tract~
THENCE North 33056' West, 760 feet more or less to a point in
the west line of the Richard Kraft 29.67 acre tract for the west
corner of the herein descr~bed tract.
THENCE North 48055' East in a line parallel to and 900 feet from
the center line of I.H. 35, 2750 feet more or less to a point for the
north corner of this tract.
THENCE South 30015' East, 1810 feet more or less crossing I.H. 35
to a point on the northeast side of an existing dirt road for the
east corner of this tract.
THENCE South 48055' West, in a line parallel to and 900 feet from
the center line of I.H. 35, 2350 feet more or less to a point in the
existing City limits of the City of Schertz for the south corner of
this tract.
THENCE North 30015' West, 1070 feet more or less along the existing
City limits of the City of Schertz to a point in the north right-of-way
line of I.H. 35 for an interior corner of this tract.
THENCE South 45055' West, 306.43 feet with the north right-of-way
line of I.H. 35 to a point for an interior corner of this tract.

THENCE South 45004' West, 194.90 feet with the north right-of-way
line of I.H. 35 to the POINT OF BEGINNING containing 103.65 acres
more or less.
SAVE and except all acreage contained within the right-of-way
of I.H. 35.
