A RESOLUTION
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS,
SETTING A TIME, DATE AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
PURSUANT TO THE PROPOSED DISANNEXATION OF A TRACT
OF LAND CONTAINING 48.733 ACRES OUT OF GUADALUPE
COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Schertz, Texas,
desires to institute disannexation proceedings concerning the territory
described herein, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 6, Article 970a, Vernon's
Texas Civil Statutes, a public hearing is required, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT a public hearing is hereby scheduled for 7:00 o'clock
P . M., Tuesday, Febru'ary 2, 1982, to be held in the Counc i 1 Chambers of
the Municipal Complex Building, 1400 Live Oak Road, Schertz, Texas, to
obtain the views of the public concerning the proposed disannexation of
the following territory:
DISANNEXATION of a tract of land containing 48.733 acres of
land out of Guadalupe County:
POINT OF BEGINNING at the intersection of Wiederstein Road
and F.M. Road 1103 being North 30015' East, 300 feet from
the intersection of the North line of Wiederstein Road pro-
jected and the East line of F.M. Road 1103 for the Southwest
corner of this survey;
THENCE., North 24017130" West, 3060 feet to a point being an
interior angle point in this survey;
THENCE, South 59045' West, 480.34 feet to a point located on
the right-of-way line of F.M. Road 1103;
THENCE, with the Easterly right-of-way line of F.M. Road 1103
North 15028'00" East, 167.35 feet to the Northeast corner of
this survey, said point being a point on the Southeasterly
right-of-way line of I.H. 35;
THENCE, with the Southeast line of I.H. 35 as follows:
North 39045100" East, 338.20 feet,
thence, North 54023'00" East, 559.98 feet
to a point being the Northeast corner of

THENCE, leaving said right-of-way line of I.H. 35 as follows:
South 23015100" East, 1099.42 feet,
thence, South 30031 t36~ East, 525.49 feet~-
thence, South 24017130" East, 2138.77 feet to a point
being the Southeast corner of this survey.
THENCE" South 59045100" West, 486.37 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING, containing 48.733 acres of land.
