A RESOLUTION
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS,
PLACING IN Nm~INATION C~c.{L E:. Lt-~hbJ;f/J/
FOR THE DIRECTORSHIP OF THE GUADALUPE COU TY
APPRAISAL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, Sanate Bill 621 entitles the City of Schertz to
nominate candidates for the Directorship of the Guadalupe County Appraisal
District; and
WHEREAS, the City of Schertz desires to render this entitle-
ment by submitting a name in nomination; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT the City Council hereby nominates

Dear Mr. Sawyer:
As required by law this notice is to inform you of voting
entitlement in the election of the Board of Directors for the
Guadalupe County Appraisal District. The number of votes for the
City of Schertz is 195.
Each voting taxing unit may nominate one candidate for each
position to be filled. These nominations must be made by
resolution. Your taxing unit may nominate one to five candidates.
Once your voting taxing unit has completed the nominations, the
presiding officer of each voting unit's governing body submits the
names of the nominees to the County Clerk, The nominees must be
submitted to the County Clerk before October 15, 1983 along with
their addresses.
