A RESOLUTION
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS,
SETTING THE TIME, DATES AND PLACES FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS
PURSUANT TO THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF 305.5Z ACRES OF
LAND, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF COMAL COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Schertz, Texas desires
to institute annexation proceedings concerning the territory described
herein; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 6, Article 970a, Vernon's
Texas Civil Statutes, public hearings are required, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT a public hearing is hereby scheduled for 7:00 P.M., Tuesday,
January 17, 1984, to be held in the Council Chambers of the Municipal
Complex, 1400 Live Oak Road, Schertz, Texas, to obtain the views of the
public concerning the proposed annexation of this 305.52 acre tract of
land as described on the attached Fie1dnote Description and map; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
THAT a second public hearing is hereby scheduled for 7:00 P.M.
Tuesday, February 7, 1984, to be held in the Council Chambers of the
Municipal Complex, 1400 Live Oak Road, Schertz, Texas, to obtain the views
of the public concerning the proposed annexation of this 305.52 acre tract
of land as described on the attached Fie1dnote Description and map, and
made a part hereof.
