A RESOLUTION
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, PLACING IN NOMINATION CHARLES B.
SHARPE AND CLARENCE JACKSON , FOR THE
DIRECTORSHIPS OF THE GUADALUPE COUNTY
APPRAISAL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, Senate Bill 621 entitles the City of Schertz
to nominate candidates for the Directorship of the Guadalupe
County Appraisal District; and
WHEREAS, the City of Schertz desires to render this
entitlement by submitting two names in nomination; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS;
THAT the City Council hereby nominates Charles B.
Sharpe and Clarence Jackson as the City's candidates for
Directorship of the Guadalupe County Appraisal District.

Dear Sir/Madame:
Please be advised that in accordance with Senate Bill 469
(amended Section 6.03, 6.031, 6.032, 6.033 of the State Property
Tax Code), enclosed please find the voting entitlement of your juris-
diction.
--
The Appraisal District Board of Director nominees must be
submitted to the Chief Appraiser by written resolution on or before
October 14, 1987. The Chief Appraiser will prepare an alphabetical
ballot of those nominees and deliver that ballot to each taxing unit
entitled to vote on those nominees by October 29, 1987. These taxing
entities must vote in open meeting and by written resolution submit
their votes to the Chief Appraiser by November 16, 1987. .The Chief
Appraiser will count the votes and declare the nominees who receive
the largest number of votes by November 30, 1987.
