1988R09-Proposed Annexation of 3.98 acres RESOLUTION NO ?58-~-:L A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, SETTING A TIME, DATE AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS PURSUANT TO THE PROPOSED DEANNEXATION OF APPROXIMATELY 3.98 ACRES OF LAND, OUT OF COMAL COUNTY. WHEREAS: the City Council of the City of Schertz, Texas, desires to institute proceedings concerning the territory described herein; and WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 6, Article 97(Ja, Vernonis Texas Civil Statutes, public hearing are required, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS~ THAT a public hearing is hereby scheduled for 7~(J(J olc1ock p.m., Tuesday, July 5, 1988, to be held in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Complex, 1400 Schertz Parkway, Schertz, Texas, to obtain the views of the public concerning the proposed deannexation of approximately 3.98 acres of land as described on the attached fieldnotes and map; and THAT a second public hearing is hereby scheduled for 7:1313 oiclock p.m., Wednesday, July 13, 1988, to be held in the Conference Room of the Municipal Complex, 141313 Schertz Parkway, Schertz, Texas, to obtain the views of the public on the proposed deannexation of approximately 3.98 acres of land, as described in the attached fieldnotes and map, and made a part hereof. ATTEST~ (SEAL OF CITY) Project No. 1121.95 June 1, 1988 FIELDNOTES FOR THE DEANNEXATION OF A 3.98 ACRE TRACT STATE OF TEXAS: COUNTY OF BEXAR: FIELDNOTES for a 3.98 acre tract of land to be de annexed by the City of Schertz being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the intersection point of the City of Schertz, Texas city limits line as defined by Ordinance 81-A-12 and the northern boundary line of Northcliffe Country Club Estates section Two as recorded in Volume 5, Page 170 of the Comal County Deed and Plat Records, said point also lying South 660 52' 04" East, a distance of 19.11 feet from the intersection of the northern boundary of said subdivision and the west right-of-way of Country Club Boulevard, said point also being located 900 feet in a southeasterly direction from the centerline of IH-35; THENCE, with the Schertz city limits line South 590 45' 00" West, a distance of 1,723.95 feet, to the intersection with the west boundary line of said subdivision; THENCE, with the boundary line of said subdivision North 230 07' 56" West, a distance of 77.75 feet, North 210 52' 04" East, a distance of 192.14 feet, North 660 52' 04" East, a distance of 1,574.80 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 3.98 acres of land (173,481 square feet).
