2009R26-EDC Fund Audio-Visual Equipment
RESOLUTION NO. 09-R-26
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, APPROVING A RECOMMENDATION OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION TO FUND AUDIO AND
VISUAL EQUIPMENT UPGRADES AT THE CITY OF SCHERTZ CIVIC
CENTER; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Schertz Economic Development Corporation ("EDC")
Board of Directors met on March 26, 2009, to consider a request to fund audio and visual
equipment upgrades at the City of Schertz Civic Center; and
WHEREAS, the EDC Board of Directors held a public hearing on March 26,
2009, to solicit public comment with regard to the funding request; and
WHEREAS, the EDC Board of Directors, after discussing the request, voted to
approve funding audio and visual equipment upgrades at the City of Schertz Civic
Center;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the recommendation of the City of Schertz Economic
Development Corporation to fund audio and visual equipment upgrades at the City of
Schertz Civic Center is hereby approved.
SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall become effective May 19, 2009.
