RESOLUTION NO. 09-R-25
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, APPROVING THE CANVASS OF THE MAY 9, 2009 GENERAL
ELECTION RESULTS.
WHEREAS, an election was duly held in the City of Schertz, Texas, on the 9TH
day of May 2009 to elect Council Member Places 3, 4, and 5; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council duly canvassed the vote of said election
on this the 12th day of May, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the canvass showed the following results:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
SECTION I
The City Council finds that the results of the general and special elections as set
forth above are correct and the canvass of votes is hereby approved.
SECTION"
The total of votes cast during early voting was 435 by personal appearance, and
209 votes were cast on Election Day. The total number of votes cast in this election
was 644.
SECTION '"
John M. Trayhan Is hereby declared to have been elected to
Place 3.
Tony Wilenchik Is hereby declared to have been elected to
the Office of Council Member Place 4.
Michael R. Carpenter Is hereby declared to have been elected to
the Office of Council Member Place 5.
