AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OE THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS,
AMENDING THE ORDINANCE CREATING THE PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION NO. 87-S-9, SECTION 5 - DUTIES AND POWERS,
PARAGRAPH (10); AND PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS

THAT, Ordinance Creating the Planning and Zoning Commission
No. 87-s-9 of the City of Schertz, Texas, Section S - Duties and
Powers, is hereby amended in the following manner:
"Paragraph (10)
Current:
Submit each Oetober first a progress report to the City Council
summarlzing its activities, major aecomplishments for the past;
year, and a proposed work program for the comlng year. The
report shall eontain for the year the attendance record of all
members and the identity of Commission officers.
Proposed:
Delete entire paragraph.
II
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this
ordinance are hereby repealed.

SUBJECT:
ANNUAL PROGRESS REPORT
Due to the faet that City Council reeeives a copy of the minutes
of eaeh of the Planning and Zoning meetings, the Commission feels
the annual progress report is not necessary. The attached
amendment deletes the paragraph from the Ordinance Creating the
Planning and Zoning Commission which directed the Commission to
prepare the annual progress report.
