BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, AMENDING THE MOBILE HOME ORDINANCE
NO. 87-S-8, SECTION XI, MOBILE HOME PARKS,
PARAGRAPH B.2.g. DESIGN AND LOCATION OF
STORAGE FACILITIES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:

1S hereby amended in the following manner:

Amend SECTION XI, Paragraph B.2.g. as follows:
SECTION XI MOBILE HOME PARKS
B.2.g. Design and Location of Storage Facilities
Storage facilities with a maximum capacity of thirty (30) square
feet (6 feet wide x 5 feet deep) and a maximum height of eight
(8') feet per mobile home space may be provided on the mobile
home space. These storage facilities shall be designed in a
manner that will enhance the appearance of the park and be
porcelainized steel, baked enamel or other material equal in fire
resistance, durability and appearance. Storage outside the
perimeter walls of the mobile home shall be permitted only in
such facilities. Storage facilities may be located directly
behind the mobile home with the door(s) facing the rear of the
lot and a minimum of four (4') feet between the storage facility
and the mobile home, or on the side of the mobile home. However,
that side of the storage facility that faces the rear of the
mobile home lot will be even with the rear of the mobile home,
with a minimum of four (4') feet between the storage facility and
the mobile home. The Mobile Home Park owner, or manager, may
designate which of the two locations mentioned above is desired
to maintain uniformity within the park. Storage facilities in
place as of the date of this Ordinance, not in compliance, may
remain until such time as the current occupant or ov\"ner of the
storage facility vacates the mobile home lot.
