AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 79-S-15
BY REZONING AN 11 ACRE TRACT OF LAND OUT OF
GUADALUPE COUNTY TO NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICES AND
A 191.9 ACRE TRACT OF LAND OUT OF COMAL
COUNTY TO LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (MIl AND
REFLECTING SUCH CHANGES ON CERTAIN ZONING
MAPS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SCHERTZ ZONING
ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
SECTION I
THAT Zoning Ordinance No. 79-S-15 of the City of
Schertz, Texas, is hereby amended in the following manner:
"A. An eleven acre tract of land out of Guadalupe
County, Texas, and located on the south side of
Elbel Road between the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal
City School District Administration Office
building and the Sycamore Creek Apartments is
changed in classification to Neighborhood
Services.
B. A 191.9 acre tract out of Comal County bounded
on the north by the Missouri-Kansas-Texas railroad
tracts, on the east by Schwab Road, on the south
by Interstate Highway 35 and on the west by
Friesenhahn Road is changed in classification to
Light Industrial (MIl.
SECTION II
THAT the zoning District Maps, described and referred
to in Article II, Section 3.1 and 3.2 of the City of Schertz
zoning Ordinance No. 79-S-15, shall be changed to reflect the
above amendments.

The City of Schertz City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission will
conduct a joint public hearing on Tuesday, October 15, 1985 at 7:00 P.M. in
the Municipal Complex Council Chambers, 1400 Live Oak Road. The purpose of
the hearing is to receive public input on a rezoning request by Don McCrary
for a 191.9 acre tract of land from General Business (GB) and Predevelopment
(PO) to Light Indtstrial (Ml). Said land is out of Francisco Rodriguez
Survey No. 99, the C.M. Gahagan Survey No. 258 and the J.F. Zepeda Survey
No. 257, Comal County, Texas located between Schwab Road on the East and
