AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS
AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 79-S-15, OF THE
CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, BY REZONING A 41 ACRE TRACT
OUT OF GUADALUPE COUNTY TO GENERAL BUSINESS (GB);
AND REFLECTING SUCH CHANGE ON CERTAIN ZONING MAPS
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SCHERTZ ZONING ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Schertz, Texas
(Ordinance no. 79-S-15) is hereby amended in the following manner:
"That 41 acres out of the T. Herrera Survey, Abstract
153, Guadalupe County, located on the south side of IH 35
where the Schertz City limits intersect with Selma City
limits and being approximately 1,586 feet in depth from
the northbound side of IH 35 to the boundary of Live Oak
Hills Subdivision and a width of approximately 1,244 feet
paralleling the Live Oak Hills Subdivision be changed in
classification to General Business (GB) with the following
restrictions:
1. That a specific use permit is approved to use the rear
portion of the property, approximately 1,000 feet in depth,
as a temporary Mobile Home Park~ provided that a 60 foot
ROW for Live Oak Rd. is provided through the property.
2. The specific use permit is not transferable from the
Chaparral Energy Corp.
3. The specific use permit will expire on March 31, 1987.
4. The Mobile Home Park must be operated in accordance with
the Mobile Home Ordinance."
That the Zoning District Maps, described and referred in
Article II, Section 3.1 and 3.2 of the City of Schertz Zon-
ing Ordinance No. 79-S-15, shall be changed to reflect the
above amendment.'
