1983S6- AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE 79S15 I ORDINANCE NO. tr 3 - 5 - ~ AN ORDINANCE BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 79-S-l5, OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, BY REZONING A 1.031 ACRE PARCEL OF LAND FROM GB, GENERAL BUSINESS, TO R-4, APARTMENT/MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT; AND RE- FLECTING SUCH CHANGE ON CERTAIN ZONING MAPS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SCHERTZ ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 79-S-l5. WHEREAS, a property developer has specifically requested the rezoning of approximately 1.031 acres of land from GB, General Business, to R-4, Apartment/Multi-Family Dwelling District; anc WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has voted favorably to recommend the zoning change be approved; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS: THAT the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Schertz, Texas, (Ordinance No. 79-S-l5) is hereby amended in the following manner: "That 1.031 acres of land being Lot 5, Block 5 Village One Subdivision, Guadalupe County, at 800 block of Live Oak Road, being approximately two hundred fifty-six feet (256') along the westerly side of Live Oak Road between Aero Avenue and Mitchell Avenue, and approximately one hundred forty-two (142') feet in depth from Live Oak Road in a westerly direction, is changed in classification from GB, General Business, to R-4, Apartment/Multi-family Dwelling District, as proposed by Zoning Change No. 43. That Zoning District Maps, described and referred in Article II, Section 3.1 and 3.2 of the City of Schertz Zoning Ordinance No. 79-S-l5, shall be changed to re- flect the above amendment."
