AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS,
AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE (NO. 79-S-15) OF THE
CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS; CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION
OF 124.5 ACRES OF LAND FROM PRE-DEVELOPMENT TO GENERAL
BUSINESS; AND REFLECTING SAID CHANGE ON CERTAIN ZONING
MAPS IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE II AND III OF SAID
ZONING ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has proposed and
recommended this rezoning to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the procedures outlined in Article XIX, Sections 2 and
4 have been complied with, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Schertz, Texas
(Ordinance No. 79-S-15) is hereby amended in the following manner:
"A. Changing the classification of land from Pre-Development to
General Business, said land consisting of 124.5 acres in
the J. F. Zepeda and Rafael Garza Surveys out of Comal
County, proposed that in a line parallel to and 900 feet
from the center line of IH 35 and on the northerly side
of that center line, generally being between FM 1103
and Friesenhahn Road, which consists of 124.5 acres of
land, more or less, with the metes and bounds of said
land being the same as reflected the the City of Schertz
Ordinance No. 81-A-4, dated February 3, 1981, which
annexed said land into the corporate limits of the City
of Schertz, Texas.
B. The Zoning District Maps, described and referred in
Article II, Section 3.1 and 3.2 of the City of Schertz
Zoning Ordinance No. 79-S-15, shall be changed to
reflect the above amendment."
PASSED APPROVED AND ADOPTED this the 15th day of June
19 82
