-OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ
AUTHORIZING THE UNDERTAKING OF AMENDED
SURVEYS AND PLANS IN CONNECTION WITH AN
URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT KNOWN AS BUFFALO
VALLEY NORTH PROJECT, TEX. R-112 AND THE
FILING OF AN AMENDED APPLICATION IN CONNEC-
TION THEREWITH.
WHEREAS, said Council by Ordinance dated March 2, 1967
authorized the filing of an Application for the undertaking
of surveys and plans in connection with an Urban Renewal
Project within the City of SChertz, Texas known as Buffalo
Valley North Project, Tex. R-112 in the amount of $75,970.00,
and
WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Agency has determined after
the preliminary planning of said Project that the Application
should be amended in order to provide for additional adminis-
trative personnel and an additional administrative budget so
that said Application should now be amended and revised to the
amount of $134,999.00; and
WHEREAS, this Council is in agreement that said Application
should be amended and ratifies and adopts all the necessary
findings previously made by it in its Ordinance passed and
approved March 2, 1967, now, therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ:
1. The previous findings and determinations required by
the Department of Housing and Urban Development in connection
with the filing of an Application for Survey and Planning Funds
pertaining to an Urban Renewal Project within the City of Schertz
known as Buffalo Valley North Project, Tex. R-112 are hereby
ratified, adopted and approved as previously set forth in this
Council's Ordinance of March 2, 1967.
2. The filing of an Amended Application for Survey and
Planning Funds in the amount of $134,999.00 by the Urban Renewal
Agency of the City of Schertz for an advance of funds by the
United States of America to enable it to defray the cost of
surveys and plans for an Urban Renewal Project known as Buffalo
Valley North Project, Tex. R-112 is hereby approved.

The undersigned hereby certifies, as follows:

of the City of Schertz, herein called the "Municipality," and
the keeper of its records including the journal of proceedings
of the City Council of the City of Schertz, herein called the
"Governing Body",
2. That the attached Ordinance is a true and correct copy
of the Ordinance as finally adopted at a meeting of the Governing
Body held on the ),q!}J. day of 0 M ~,...-f:, , 1968, and duly recorded
in his office,
3. That said meeting was duly convened and held in all respects
in accordance with law and to the extent required by law due and
proper notice of such meeting was given; that a legal quorum was
present throughout the meeting, and a legally sufficient number
of members of the Governing Body voted in the proper manner and
for the adoption of said Ordinance; and all other requirements
and proceedings under law incident to the proper adoption or
passage of said Ordinance, have been duly fulfilled, carried out,
and otherwise observed,
4. That if an impression of the seal has been affixed below,
it constitutes the official seal of the Municipality and this
certificate is hereby executed under such official seal. If no
seal has been affixed below, the Municipality does not have and is
not legally required to have an official seal,
5. That the undersigned is duly authorized to execute this
certificate.
