FIRE LIIIITS ORDINANCE NO,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, as follows:
SECTION I, The following shall be and are hereby declared to be the
fire limits of the City of Schertz, Texas:
SECTION 2: FIRE DISTRIGr NO. ONE (1)
AREA NO. ONE (1)
BEGINNING at intersection of East line of Lindbergh Avenue
and North line of Main Street in Schertz, Texas;
THENCE in an eastern direction with N line of Main Street
to SE corner of tract of land conveyed to H. P. Thulemeyer by
deed recorded in Vol, 175, page 113 of Guadalupe County, Deed
Records:
THENCE in a Northern direction with east line of lot conveyed
to H. P~ Thulemeyer by deed recorded in Volume 175, page 113
of the deed records of Guadalupe County, Texas, a distance
so that an extension of the North line of. that certain tract
of land conveyed to Malford KOch by deed recorded in Vol. 236,
page 313 of the deed records. of Guadalupe County, Texas, drawn
in an eastern direction will intersect same;
THENCE with said extension of said Malford KOch N. line in a
western direction to point of intersection with East line of
Lindbergh Avenue; the NW corner of said tract of land conveyed
to Ma lford KOch; "
THENCE in a southern direction with East line of Lindbergh
Avenue to point of beginning;
AREA NO. TWO (2)
BEGINNING At pOint where West line of Lindbergh Avenue inter-
sects the South line of Exchange Avenue for point of beginning;
THENCE in a western direction with S line of Exchange Avenue
and extension thereof to pOint of intersection with West line
of that certain tract of land designated as Lot No. one (1) con-
veyed to Adolph Schertz by deed recorded in Vol. 32, page 133 of
the deed records of Guadalupe County, Texas;
THENCE in a southern direction with west line of said Schertz
tract to point of intersection with North line of Main Street;
THENCE in an eastern direction with N. line of Main Street to
intersection of s;tid line with W line of Lindbergh Avenue;
THENCE N with W l~ne of Lindbergh Avenue to point of beginning.
AREA NO. THREE. (3)
__BEGINNING at pointoof intersection of South line of FII Highway
No. 78 and West line of 1st Streetfow point of beginning;
THENCE South with west line of First Street to point of intersection
with North line of Wuest Street;
THENCE West with North line of Wuest Street and extension thereof
to intersection with East edge of Cibolo Creek;
THENCE in a northern direction with east line of Cibolo Creek to
point of intersection with South line of ROW of FII Highway No. 78;
THENCE in an eastern direction with South line of ROW of said
FII Highway No. 78 to place of beginning;
AREA NO. FOUR (4)
BEGINNING at point of intersection ., South line of FII Highway
No. 78 and East line of First Street in Schertz, Texas;
'THENCE South with East line of First Street to point of inter-
section with North line of Lee Street;
THENCE East with North line of Lee Street to SII corner of that
certain tract of land conveyed to Elgin Beck by deed recorded
in Volume 227, page 65 of the Deed Records of Guadalupe County,
Texas;
THENCE in a northern direction with said East line of that
tract of land conveyed to Beck aforesaid and East l~"of R.
Beck and Schneider tracts to point of intersection with south
line of FII 78;
THENCE West with South line of FII 78 to point of beginning.

AREA NO FIVE (5)
BEGINNING at a point in North line of G.H.and S.A.Railroad
Company ROW, being point of intersection with west line of
that certain tract of land conveyed to J. L. Dendy by deed
recorded in Vol. 232, page 526 of ..ed records of Guadalupe
Ocjjunty, Texas;
THENCE in a northern direction with the west line of said
Dendy tract to pointof intersection with South line of Main
Street;
THENCE in an eastern direction with south line of Main Street
to point of intersection with west line of 1st street;
THENCE South with West line of First Street to point of inter-
section with North line of G. H. & S. A. ROW line;
THENCE in a western direction with North line oL'G. H, & S. A.
ROW line to poin t of beginning.
LESS AND EXCEPT:
All that certain tract or parcel of land situated in the City
of Schertz, in Guadalupe County, Texas, being out of and a part
of the G. Malpaz Survey, and being part of a 6.87 acres retained
by Arthur E. Seiler out of 18.7 acres of land purchased from
the Texas.and New Orleans Railway Company dated May 31, 1944,
and recorded in Guadalupe County Deed Records Volume 204 on pages
397-9 and again recorded in Guadalupe County Deed Records Vol.
249 on pages 50-3, that portion of said 6.87 acres here conveyed
being described by metes and bounds as follows;
BEGINNING at a point in the South line of the Seguin -San
Antonio Highway, which point.is south 570 30' East 68.37 feet
from the beginning point of that property heretofore conveyed
by the Texas and New Orleans Railroad Company to Arthur E.
Seiler as above set out; THENCE South 570 30' East 188.02 feet;
THENCE North 610 9' East 255.4 feet to a,point in the West line
of that 20 foot..easement heretofore given by Arthur Seiler to
Edward Zimmerman as shown in Guadalupe County Deed Record Vol.
335 on page 481; THENCE North 280 51' West along the West or
Southwest line of. said 20 foot right-of-way above mentioned, 165
feet to a point in the south line of Seguin-San Antonio Highway;
THENCE South 610 9' West with the South line of said highway,
350.4 feet to the place of beginning.
SECTiON 3; FIRE DISTRICT NO TWO (2)
The following saall be and are hereby declared to be the fire
limits of the City of Schertz, Texas, Fire Zone No.2.
AREA NO. ONE (1)
BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the South line Exchange
Avenue of the City of Schertz, Texas, with the E. Line of Lindbergh
Avenue in said City for point of beginning; THENCE in a NE dir-
ection with the North line of Exchange Avenue. to point o~ intemgctioa
with W line of Live Oak Road to point of intersection with N line
of Southern Pacific ROW line; THENCE with the N ROW line of
Southern Pacific RailWaY Company in a westerly direction to point
of intersection with E. line of First Street; THENCE in a northerly
direction with E line of First Street to point of intersection with
S line of Main Street; THENCE in a E direction with the S line of
Main Street to point where same intersects an extension of the E
line of area No. 1 of the first Fire District; THENCE following
such extension of such E line of .such.area NO.1. in a northern
direction and continuing with the E line of such Area No.1, in a
northern direction and; THENCE in a Western direction with North
line of such Fire District No.1 to point of intersection with
East line of Lindbergh Avenue; THENCE in a northern direction
with East line of Lindbergh Avenue to point of beginning.

BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the East line of
Area No. 4 of the First Fire District above described and
the South line of FII 78; ..THENCE with the South line of FM.
No. 78 in a Eastern direction to the East City Limit line;
THENCE in a Southern direction with the south ~ity Limit
line 150 feet; THENCE in a Wester-n direction a lineparaUel
with the South line of FII No. 78 to point of intersection
with the East line of area No, 4 of the First Fire District
above set out; THENCE in a northern direction with the
East line of said area No.4 to point of beginning.
SECTION 4.
All of the conditions and terms of Chapter III of the Southern
BUilding Code, 1965 Edition, shall apply to the hereinabove defined
Fire Districts of the City of Schertz, Texas.
SECTION 5.
Ordinance No. 57 and 57-A of the City of Schertz, Texas, estab-
lishing Fire Limits are heD_with repealed.

Ordinance as finally adopted at a meeting of the Governing Body held on

accordance wi. th law and to the extent required by law due and proper notice
of such meeting was given; that a legal quorum was present throughout the
meeting, and a legally sufficient number of members of the Governing Body
voted in the proper manner and for the adoption of said resolution; and
all other requirements and proceedings under law incident to the proper
adoption or passage of said Ordinance, have been duly f'ulfilled, carried
out, and otherwise observed;
4. That if an impression of the seal has been affixed below, it
constitutes the official seal of the Municipality and this certificate is
hereby executed under such official seal. If no seal has been affixed
below, the Municipality does not have and is not legally required to have
an official seal;
