BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 29 as amended of the ordin-~i
ance of the city of Schertz, Texas, be amended so that such

section shall read as folloWS:

SECTION I. ADOPTION OF FIRE PREVENTION CODE: There is hereby
adopted by th~ City of "Schertz for the-purpose of prescribing
regulations governing conditions hazaTdous to life and property
from fire or exploSion, that cerUEn eode known as the Fire preven-
tion Code, Abbreviated Edition, recommended by the National Board
of Fire Underwriters, being particularly the 1965 edition thereof
and the whole thereof .and aIL amendments and changes thereto up
through and including the day of the passage of this ordinance,
of which code not less than three (3) copies have been~d now are
filed in the office of the Clerk of the City of Schertz, Texas,
and the same are hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if
set out at length herein, and from the date on which this ordin-
ance shall take effect, the provisions thereof shall be controlling
within the limits of the City of Schertz, Texas.
All other sections and conditions of said Ordinance No. 29,

are and shall remain in full force and effect.
