AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMITS ON
F.M. ROAD 482 FROM THE SOUTHWEST CITY LIMIT
EASTERLY TO THE NORTHWEST CITY LIMITS AND
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
WHEREAS, in Schertz, Texas, an engineering and traf~ic
investigation has been made to determine the maximum, reasonable
and prudent speeds on the section of F.M. Road 482 from the
south\vest city limit easterly to the no'rthwest city limit, a
distance of 0.474 miles approximately; and'
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the engineering and
traff ic investigation that the maxtmum, reasonable and prudent
speeds for the section of highway described above are as shown on
the attached plansi NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
SECTION I. THAT the City Council hereby declares and fixes the
maximum, reasonable and prudent speed limit on the section of
F.M. Road 482 from the southwest city limit easterly to the
northwest city limit, a distance of 0.474 miles approximately, at
45 miles per hour as show on the attached plans that are made a
part hereof.
SECTION II. THAT all ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
