AN ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING SPEED
MAINLANES AND FRONTAGE
CITY LIMIT NORTHERLY
LIMIT, AND REPEALING
CONFLICT.
LIMITS ON I.H. 35
ROADS FROM THE SOUTH
TO THE NORTH CITY
ALL ORDINANCES IN
WHEREAS, in Schertz, Texas, an engineering and traffic
investigation has been made to determine the maximum, reasonable
and prudent speeds on the section of I.H. 35 Mainlanes and
Frontage Roads from the south city limit northerly to the north
city limit for a distance of 6.854 miles approximately; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the engineering and
traffic investigation that the maximum, reasonable and prudent
speeds for the section of highway described above are as shown on
the attached plans; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
SECTION I. The City Council hereby declares and fixes the
maximum, reasonable and prudent speed limit on the section of
LH. 35 Mainlanes and Frontage Roads from the south city limit
northerly to the north city limit for a distance of 6.854 miles
approximately, as shown on the attached plans and made a part
hereof.
SECTION II. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
