AN ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMITS ON FM 78 FROM THE
WEST CITY LIMIT EASTERLY TO THE EAST CITY
LIMIT OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, AND
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT.
WHEREAS, in Schertz, Texas an engineering and traffic
investigation has been made to determine the maximum, resonable
and prudent speeds on the section of F.M. 78 from the West city
limits easterly to the East city limit for a distance of 1.670
miles approximately; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the engineering and
traffic investigation that the maximum, reasonable and prudent
speeds for the section of highway described above are as shown on
the attached plans; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby declares and fixes the
maximum, reasonable and prudent speed limits on the section of
F.M. 78 from the West city limit Easterly to the East city limit
for a distance of 1.670 miles approximately, as shown on the
attached plans and made a part hereof.
SECTION II. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
