REVISING SECTION 7-14 OFFICE
CREATED; APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF, OF
AND PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:

THAT Section 7-14 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Schertz, Texas, be amended to read as follows:
"Secti.on 7-11.~ Office of Chief ct~eated; appointment of Chief.
The office of fire chief is hereby created. The fire Chief shall
be appointed by the City Manager and shall have the powers and
perform the duties prescribed by the Fire Codes and other
ordinances of the City of Schertz, and by the City Council and
the City Manager.

THAT all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
