ORDINANCE NO. ~b-LJ-/;l
AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES,
CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS BE AMENDED BY REVISING
SECTION 18-45. VEHICULAR WEIGHT LIMIT ON
PORTION OF SCHERTZ PARKWAY AND EAST LIVE OAK
ROAD; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT WITH THIS
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the weight
limit set on certain streets is too limited and the City Council
does not wish to create a hardship on certain vehicles used daily
by the general public; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:

THAT Sec. 18-45, Code of Ordinances, City of Schertz, Texas is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 18-45. Vehicular weight limit on certain streets.
A vehicle weight limit of 15,000 pounds to through traffic
is placed on the following:
(a) Schertz Parkway from its intersection with Elbel
Road north to IH 35 Access Road.
(b) East Live Oak Road from its intersection with
Schertz Parkway to its intersection with Farm to Market Road
3009(Jack Hays Boulevard)."

THAT All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
