AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES,
CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING
SECTION 18-76 MAXIMUM LIMITS ON SPECIFIC
STREETS, OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING SPEED LIMITS ON
FARM TO MARKET 3009/JACK HAYS BOULEVARD;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
SECTION I
THAT Section 18-76. Maximum limits on specific streets
of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Schertz, Texas be
amended as follows:
"Sec. 18-76. Maximum Speed limits on Specific Streets.

SECTION II
THAT all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION III
THAT the public importance of this measure constitutes and
creates an urgent public necessity requiring that this ordinance
be passed and take effect as an emergency measure, and shall take
effect and be in force immediately upon and after its passage.
