AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SCHERTZ, TEXAS CANVASSING THE RETURNS AND
DECLARING THE RESULTS OF A CHARTER
AMENDMENT ELECTION HELD IN SAID CITY ON
THE 7TH DAY OF MAY, 1994, AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, there came on to be considered the returns of
a Charter Amendment Election duly and legally held in the
City of Schertz, Texas, on May 7, 1994; and
WHEREAS, this City Council has diligently inquired
into the poll lists and official election returns which were
duly and lawfully made to the said City Council by the judge
and clerks holding said election; and
WHEREAS, from said returns, this City Council
affirmatively finds that there were cast )'D said election by
resident qualified voters a total of . I ,~ votes, of
which number the following votes "YES" and "NO" were cast in
said election, to-wit:
