HERRERA SURVEY NO. 68, ABSTRACT NO. 153, IN GUADALUPE
COUNTY, SCHERTZ, TEXAS FROM SINGLE-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT-2 (R-2) TO PUBLIC USE DISTRICT
(PUB); PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND PROVIDING A
REPEALING CLAUSE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF litE CITY OF SLltERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT, UDC Ordinance No. 96-S-28 of the City of Schertz, Texas is hereby amended in the
following manner.
SECTION I
"Rezoning 3.00:1: acres being situated out of the T. Herrera Survey No.68, Abstract No. 153,
Guadalupe County, Schertz Texas, more particularly described in the Field Notes and Map, as
attached hereto as Exhibit A, from Single-Family Residential District-2 (R-2) to Public Use
District (PUB)." --
SECTION II
THAT, The Zoning District Map described and referred to in Article III, of the UDC, Ordinance
96-S-28 shall be changed to reflect the above amendments.
SECTION III
THAT this Ordinance shall be effective from and after its final passage and any publication
required by the City of Schertz.

BEGINNING at a Y2 inch iron rod found on the Southeastern line of that certain Henry Gutierrez
20.560 acre tract recorded in Volume 390, Page 44 of the Deed Records of Guadalupe County,
Texas, the same being the Northeastern comer of Lot 3 of the Magdalena Pena Subdivision as
shown on a plat recorded in Volume 6, Page 396 of the Plat Records of Guadalupe County,
Texas, for the Northwestern comer of this 3.00 acre tract ofland;
THENCE: N 59016'37" E - 180.89 feet along the Southeastern line of the said 20.560 acre tract
to a Y2 inch iron rod found for the Northwestern comer of that certain City of Schertz 1.00 acre
tract of land recorded in Volume 811, Pages 386-388 of the Official Records of Guadalupe
