OPlJINANCE NO. 39
BE IT ORDADIJED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT HHEREAS the City of Schertz, Texas, has never maintained,
claimed or used the hereinafter described tract of land as a public
street or alley and does not now desire to do so:
IT IS lJERl!,1'HTH ORDAINED that all that certain strip of
land which lies between the Schertz State Bank Building and the
, old Schertz Hercantile Company Building and which such strip extends
from its intersection with Hain Street to its intersection with
Exchange Avenue,is hereby declared abandoned, closed and no longer
a public street or alley if indeed same has ever been such a street
or alley.
The strip of land above described extends over and across
that certain tract of land described in deed to Mrs. C. W. Koch,
recorded in Vol. 236, page 311 of the Deed Records of Guadalupe
County, Texas, and that certain tract of land described in deed to
Schertz State Bank recorded in Vol. 52, page 528 of the Deed Records
of Guadalupe County, Texas, and that certain tract of land described
in deed to H. P. Thulemeyer, recorded in Vol. 175, page 113 of
the Deed Records of Guadalupe County, Texas.
