ORDINANCE No. 31
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
1. There shall be levied and collected for the current year of 1960, the
following taxes upon all property, both real and personal, within the corporate
11mi ts of the City of Schertz, to be used for the purpose of maintaining the City,
its government, streets. alleys and parks, and for the purpose of paying interest
and sinking funds nDon its indebtedness as provided by law; that there shall be
levied and collected a tax upon all personal and real property the sum of 1~ of
each dollar upon all taDble property.
2. The laws of this State require that a Tax Ordinance shall be adopted at
the first regular meeting of the C.t~ Council of the City of Schertz in January
of each year, ror the purpose of assessing the necessar,y tax for the purpose of
maintaining the City government and it is 80 ordained.
