ORDINANCE NO. 59 OHDINANCE NO. f'j AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING YrlAT THE RECORDER OF THE CORPORATION COURT OF TB:E CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, SHALL HAVE ALL TirE POWERS AND PERFORM THE DUTIES PROVIDED BY lAW OR BY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE SQiERTZ, TEXAS OF THE CITY TREASill1ER, TAX ASSESSOR A~~ COLLECTOR AND CITY SECP~TARY OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS. BE IT ORDAIl>I"ED BY '!'HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEx..'\.S: That the recorder of the corporation court of the City of Schertz, Texas, is hereby assigned all of the duties and granted all of the powers of the city treasurer, city tax assessor and collector and city secretary of the City of Schertz, Texas. The duties and powers of the said recorder of the corporation court shall be those duties and powers as assigned the recorder of Corporation Court, city secretary, city treasurer and city tax assessor and collector by law or by ordinance of the city council of the City of Schertz, Texas. .The recorder of the corporation court of the City of Schertz, Texas shall give bond for the faithful performance of his duties, payable to the Mayor of the City of Schertz, Texas, in the amount of ~'I.:r qOI7. t1() Dollars. Such bond as above prov~ded shal not be a cont~nuous bond but shall indemnify the said City for consecutive 12 month period1and the obligation of said bond shall be such that the principal and surety thereon shall be bound for the full face value of such bond for any default thereunder for any twelve (12) month period which such bond is effective.
