AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING THE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION FOR THE CITY
OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, FOR THE YEAR 1963, PROVIDING FOR THEIR DUTIES
AND COIV:PENSATION, AND TIME OF MEETING.
~~EREAS, the time has now arrived for the work of the board
of Equalization to begin and no such Board has yet been appointed
for the year 1963, now therefore.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS:
That, G.A.Koppin, George Rowland and Charlie Sartain, are
hereby appointed to the board of Equalizatien ef the City of
Schertz, Texas, for the year 1963, who are to perform the duties
of such Board of Equalization for the City of Schert, Texas, as
proscribed by the Constitution and laws of the State of Texas,
and ordinance of the City of Schertz, Texas; such Board shall
receive all the assessment lists and books of the assessor of
the City of Schertz, Texas, for examination, correction, equal-
ization, appraisement, and approval f~r the City of Schertz,
Texas; the members thereof shall receive for their compensation
the sum of $50.00 and such shall be convened on the 15th day of
June, 1963, in the City Hall at Schertz, Texas at 9:00 A.M.
At each meeting of said board the city secretary shall act as
secretary thereof.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 11th day of June, 1963.
