BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:

That certain lot and parcel of land situatedw.ithin the
City of Schertz, Texas, leased by said City from the Southern
Pacific Railroad, lying west of Lindbergh Avenue, South of
Main Street and North of the Southern Pacific Railroad right
of way, is herewith designated as a parking lot to be used
by the inhabitants d'. the City of Schertz, Texas.
II.
The chief of the poliaeof the City ~f Schertz, Texas is
hereby authorized to construct and designate parking lanes
and passageways over and across the said lot for the purpose
of allowing motor vehicles to park and for ingress and egress
to and from such parking area.

Any person who shall drive a motor vehicle across the said
tract of land except for the purpose of parking his motor vehble
or, having so parked his motor vehicle, leaving such parking
area shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined
not less than $1.00 or more than $25.00.
This ordinance shall become effective upon passage, approval
and publication as provided by law.
