AN ORDINANCE
PROVIDING FOR THE MODIFICATION OF THE BOUNDARY
LINES OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, BY THE
DISANNEXATION OF A TRACT OF LAND CONTAINING
59.07 ACRES OF LAND OUT OF GUADALUPE COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described tract of land is contained
within the City of Schertz, Texas; and
~~HEREAS, by the passage of this ordinance, disannexation of
said territory will have been brought to completion within ninety (90)
days of the institution of disannexations proceedings; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Schertz, Texas, is
of the opinion and finds that such territory is not suitable at this
time for municipal purposes and that it is in the best interest of the
City of Schertz, Texas, and the citizens and inhabitants thereof that
said territory be disannexed from and cease to be a part of the said
city; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:

THAT the following described territory containing approxi~
mately 59.07 acres lying within the City of Schertz, Texas, be, and the
same is hereby removed from the City of Schertz, Texas, and said terri-
tory shall hereinafter be excluded from the boundary limits of said
city and the various points contiguious to the area described are
hereby altered and amended so as to exclude said land and territory
from the corporate limits of the City of Schertz, Texas; said land
being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEING 59.07 acres of land out of Guadalupe County, beginning
at a point of intersection of the North line of Wiederstein Road and
the East line of F.M. Road 1103 for the point of beginning of this
herein described tract;
THENCE, with the East line of F.M. Road 1103, North 300151 West,
30.0 feet to an interior corner of this tract;
THENCE, North 590451 East, 486.37 feet to the Northeast corner
of this tract;

THENCE, South 2500213011 East, 681.30 feet to the Southeast corner
of this tract;
THENCE, South 590451 East, 439.54 feet to a point located on the
East line of F.M. Road 1103;
THENCE, South 1603012911 West, 206.42 feet to an interior angle
of this tract;
THENCE, to a point of curvature of a curve to the left whose chord
bears South 030361 East, 665.59 feet and having a radius of 5280.0 feet
for the Southwest corner of this tract;
THENCE, North 520181 West, 2802.55 feet to a point on the Wiederstein
Road ri ght-of-way 1 ine;
THENCE, with said right-of-way line North 590451 East, 539.46 feet
to an interior point of this tract;
THENCE, leaving said right-of-way line South 520181 East, 1164.69
feet to an interior point of this tract;
THENCE, North 1603012911 East, 2339.79 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING
and containing .59.07 acres of l~nd.

shall hereafter cease to be part of the City of Schertz, Texas,
