AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 87-5-9, THE
ORDINANCE CREATING CITY PLANNING & ZONING
COMMISSION?, SECTION' 4, ORGANIZATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT 05--dinance No 8?-5-~, Ordinance Creating City
Planning & Zoning Commission, cf the City of Schertz, Teas is
hereby amended in the following manner
SECTIONT ~ ORGANIZATION
The Commission created under this Article shall hold ar.
organizatisnal meeting in October every two (2) years and shall
elect a Chairman and Vice-Chairman from among it's members before
proceeding to any other matters of business. Nc member currently
serving as Chairman or Vice-Chairman. shall be nominated to
succeed himself as Chairman csr Vice-Chairman if he has ser~Tcd a
full twc-year term ira either cf such capacities. The Ccmmdissicn
s'~all elect a Secretary and such ether officers as it deems
necessary either frog it's membership or Pram Staff
representatives assigned by th.e Chief E~;:>cutive cf the City tc
work with the Commission. The Commission shall adopt it's cwn
rules of ~~rocedu~~e and keep a record of it's ~:rcceedings
consistent with the provisiorFs of this Article and the
requirements of applicable State Statutes. The Commisicn shall
meet regularly and shall designate the time and place of it's
meetings.
