PROJECT SPECIFIC IRRIGATION NOTES:
1.This irrigation system does not cover all landscaped areas of the project. Refer to civil
drawings for irrigation requirements on all re-vegetation of disturbed areas that are not
included with the Planting Plans.
2.Available static pressure is not known. Mainline pipe size herein has been increased to
larger than necessary in order to minimize friction losses to the furthest valve and stay to
within the available pressure. Alteration of the design layout or changes to pipe sizing to
other than as designed may cause the irrigation system to fail to perform to the
manufacturer's recommended pressure levels on emission devices. Installer will be
responsible for and bear all expense of any and all corrective action needed to make the
system perform to the design pressures stated in these drawings.
3.Gate valves have been included on the mainline at at strategic points to stop water flow
for valve repair and/or driveway repair, install where indicated.
4.The smallest pipe size to be installed for zones is .5". Any unlabeled pipe is intended to
be .5".
5.Lateral sleeves will be twice the diameter of pipes within or minimum 4" (whichever is
larger). mainline sleeves to be minimum 4" diameter
6.Install wiring in a separate .75" conduit within mainline sleeves
7.Verify all R.O.W.. dimensions with appropriate jurisdiction.
8.Contractor shall take steps necessary to protect utilities and existing fencing at all times.
9.Contractor shall provide design/build temporary irrigation for seeded portions of the
landscape not included in this irrigation design by means necessary to support the final
landscape until acceptance of the grass cover. Products and specifications herein will prevail.
